Wolfgang Hermann
I’m the founder of Central Virginia Radon. I’m originally from Germany, and before coming here, I apprenticed as a master craftsman and developed a strong sense of professionalism, precision, and an unfailing work ethic.
I recently recently retired after 20 years of dedicated service to this community. I have transferred the ownership of Central Virginia Radon to Sam Riedesel, who I believe is an ideal successor for the future of this business. I’m confident that Sam will continue to uphold and enhance the reputation of Central Virginia Radon, ensuring that it remains a reliable resource for radon mitigation, and testing in central Virginia.
Over the past 20 years, Central Virginia Radon has served well over 1000 homeowners in solving their radon problems and I am proud to have been a part of providing this valuable service to my community.

I’m excited to take the lead at Central Virginia Radon having learned the business from Wolfgang.
I grew up in Albemarle County and went to Western Albemarle High School and then later to Randolph Macon College.
I have always enjoyed working with my hands; first working in my dad‘s woodworking shop and then working for a graphic design and fabrication sign company for 10 years.
When not working, I enjoy fishing, hiking and hanging out with my dog, Rex.
I look forward to working with you on your radon mitigation projects. Call, text or email me at 434-466-1933; samuelriedesel@gmail.com.
